Broccoli! It seems that with frozen options that broccoli is a year round vegetable. But really it is in season October through March. So now is the time to capitalize on broccoli! Broccoli is great as a side dish but also a main meal. And if you can't find reasonably priced broccoli October through March, there are ways to make frozen broccoli taste good!
But did you know broccoli is high in fiber, vitamin K, vitamin C, iron and potassium? Also, broccoli contains more protein than most vegetables.
