Fitness Focus

If you follow me on social media, you'll notice I workout. Even last week, I was out with a group of women & they were talking about how does anyone have time to workout? My answer is: I make the time. It's been a really long journey to find my optimal fitness level. I've been going to an independently owned gym where there is Spin, Yoga, Weight Training & personal trainers you can hire. 

 

 

While yoga definitely changed my body - I gained flexibility that I didn't have since high school, I became stronger and my muscles are more defined. In fact, this past weekend I was told that I had gorgeous legs! It is so nice when you get compliments like that! But I've found a new passion lately - Mega Former. 

 

 

 

This fitness routine is so different from anything I've ever done before. It is a machine that you use for 45 minutes and you go as slow as you can! This is a totally mind-blowing experience. When working out in a gym - speed is the focus. By slowing down the movement, you can really get into the muscle which results in becoming stronger & leaner. 

 

I knew I was hooked when I realized that the soreness I was feeling was really changing my body. I run once a week and my legs do not feel tired after running. I have increased endurance when I go to a Spin class. Mega Former has been growing and expanding around the US. I totally encourage you to try a class. The first class is usually free! But stick with it because the first class - you definitely feel awkward. I promise you'll love the results.
