5 healthy products you will want to stock in your pantry

June 18, 2018

Note: This is a sponsored post. I was provided free product to try. All opinions are my own.

Every once in a while I receive free product to try. If I find products I think others would benefit from, I tell my followers about them. The box of free products I receive is huge and stuffed full of a variety of foods, personal care products and supplements. It is very exciting to receive such a box because I never know what exactly is in it! As I look through the products, I decide what products would I actually be intrigued enough to buy if I found them in a store,

That is how I make sure I am sharing products that I believe people who follow me would find value in trying as well. The box of products I received had some really interesting snack products, which I was happy to try. I work in an office and usually around 3 PM EST, I have an energy slump. My solve for the energy slump is to have a cup of green tea and a snack. So I am always on the look out for healthy products that I can easily carry with me to snack on.

My criteria for healthy snacks are products that do not contain well known allergens, can be gluten-free or not, and preferably can keep me full until dinner time which is usually several hours away depending on the commute. I hope you enjoy reading about the products I tried. I provided links to the product pages where you can learn more. Crunchsters Sprouted Snack.

When I first saw this product in the box, I couldn't quite figure out what to do with it. As you can see, it came in a bag and it is not a bar! It is more like granola or muesli. It is something you can pour out of the bag. I imagine you could use it as a topping on oatmeal or in as a topping on salad. I decided to eat it straight out of the bag. It was so good!

While it is nut-free, it has a great nutty flavor to it. I tried the Sea Salt flavor. The product is made out of sprouted mung beans, which is similar to a lentil. I definitely was full for at least 2 hours after I ate the product. It has 7 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and only 180 calories per serving. The product was created by parents who were looking for healthy snacks for their kids. We all know how hard that can be! Thus, they created the Crunchsters. Isn't that a great story? Papa Steve's Protein Bar

I was so pleased with this product that I sent a box to my dad! He has trouble eating hard foods and this protein bar was soft so I thought it may be appropriate for him. As I write this post, he hasn't received them yet so the jury is out if they satisfy his needs or not. I loved them! They are full of protein and free of common allergens. They are handmade and sold at Whole Foods and on amazon. The best part is even if you purchase the bars from the website - shipping is free! I love free shipping! InnovixLabs High Absorption Curcumin

Concerned about inflammation? You need to take this product. While I may use turmeric (the common name for Curcumin) in recipes, this supplement is a time release formula that supports healthy inflammation response. The supplement contains black pepper which supports the active ingredients in turmeric. I highly recommend this supplement if you are trying ti fight inflammatory response. Cybele's Free to Eat Pasta

Superfood Veggie Pasta! This was a great addition to our meat-free dinners. I am flextarian, so I am meat-free 3-4 days a week. However, my significant other only does a meat-free dinner once a week. This means I need to have a starch to make sure he is full or he will default to the snack drawer! This pasta was a great addition because it is filling and has 15 grams of protein per serving. Added sugars are 0 and it has potassium, iron, calcium and vitamin D. When you are looking to add foods to your family's that are healthy, I highly recommend this pasta! Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers

You would have no idea these crackers are made with almond flour! NO IDEA! They are crispy, flavorful and easy to eat. Way too easy to eat! The crackers are crunchy and have great flavor. The ingredients are nut and seed flour based so if you are allergic to nuts - this product is not for you! I love the fact that rosemary extract is used for freshness. The crackers are vegan, grain free, paleo, corn free and soy free. Click here to go to the website.
