I’m passionate about creating balanced, mindful, nourishing lifestyles to improve health outcomes.
I’ve struggled with my own health issues, such as hypothyroidism, weight gain, constipation, hormonal imbalances, menopause, anxiety, adrenal fatigue, tinea versicolor, bloating and excessive gas. It was a challenge everyday just to get to work and take care of the house.
I am passionate about working with people from all walks of life, every stage and age, and every health complaint. I truly believe optimal nutrition and daily habits can support every body.
No One Is Perfect
But let’s be clear – NO ONE IS PERFECT – not even ME! Our health changes as we grow older, move around and adapt to what life throws at us. Unfortunately, we aren’t taught how to listen to our body as it reacts to life. Our body gives us clues (which are symptoms) about something going wrong. Even I FORGOT to listen to what my body was telling me.
The Doctor’s wanted me to take daily medication. I felt I was too young to start that rollercoaster ride! So I did my research and slowly transformed my health.
My choice was my choice. It doesn’t mean you can’t have better health even while taking medication. Working with me will empower you and teach you how your body is currently working and how to make it better
Food Is Medicine
My philosophy is to add specific foods that address your symptoms while reducing foods that support illness. You get to choose how fast or how slow you want to go. The 80/20 rule helps us understand that if you eat specific foods 80% of the time for your health, your body will adjust during the 20% that you can’t eat that way (such as vacations, business trips and holidays).
Education is a key part of what I do as a health coach and holistic nutritionist. Sharing knowledge is the best way to empower you to take control of your well-being and gain the confidence to listen to your body.
